I believe we’re in a transitional period between business owners with no web background and business owners growing up with the web/having experienced the web in their adult years. And at this important point, business owners need to be aware of the most effective marketing methods.

Unfortunately, many business owners do not have time to seek and understand the importance of emerging marketing trends. Also, there seems to be a lot of business owners with the attitude “We’ve never used video marketing before and we’ve done just fine. Why do I need video now?” An example response would be “How many of your competitors have video?” the answer usually being “I have no idea!”.

What’s important to understand is 1/3 of all online activity is spent watching video…why would you NOT want to take advantage of that potential audience?

This isn’t just the place of an TV spots uploaded to YouTube. Its about engaging and sharing, talking about your business and the people who make it turn over, telling your audience about your product and how it will benefit them. Its about breaking that corporate image and showing your audience you are human after all.

In order to help some business owners understand just some of the potential of online video marketing, we’ve produced this short motion graphic video. It also outlines what we do as a business; help business owners step out of their comfort zone and get involved with online video.
